Art has always been part of who I am. Long before I became a product designer, drawing was one of the ways I expressed my creativity.
Through illustration, I explore everything from human emotions and movement to culture, identity, and current events. Sometimes my work tells a story; other times, it’s simply about the joy of creating something by hand.
It’s a creative outlet that allows me to step away from screens, experiment freely, and express a different side of myself.

I created this illustration during one of the most challenging years of my life. Facing serious health struggles and countless uncertainties, I was determined not to give up.
The intricate, overlapping patterns represent the obstacles life kept throwing my way. Yet, through it all, I kept reaching for a star—a symbol of hope, a brighter future, and the belief that better days were ahead.
At the time, my biggest goal was simple: to get healthy, stay strong, and keep going, no matter how difficult the journey became.
Reaching Goals became a personal reminder of resilience, perseverance, and optimism.
Looking back, I’m grateful I never gave up. I made it.

A continuation of Reaching Goals, an illustration I created during one of the most challenging chapters of my life.
Years later, after overcoming significant health challenges and a long journey toward recovery, I found myself in a much happier, healthier place. The obstacles had faded, and the star I once struggled to reach was now surrounding me.
No longer reaching, but thriving, celebrating, and embracing life.
Long before pixels and interfaces, there were canvases, brushes, and endless hours of painting.
My creative journey began as a kid, with a love for drawing and painting that eventually led me to study fine art. I spent years exploring the human form, color, composition, and expression. Those early years shaped the way I see the world and taught me to find beauty in the smallest details.
Over time, my passion for art evolved into design, eventually leading me to the world of digital products. I proudly bring that artistic foundation into my everyday design work, drawing on my skills in illustration, composition, and visual storytelling.
But the artist in me never left. I still love picking up a pencil or paintbrush whenever inspiration strikes and time allows, simply for the joy of creating.
These paintings—including my self-portrait and life portraits—created between 1999 and 2008, offer a glimpse into where it all began.
